Cain was always a prodigy, talented in mathematics from the start. Raised in Tàrʐzö-malrnràö Cain saw and
interacted with Ardent and Onyx frequently. Being taught by the mad Ardent post shattering, whatever she
whispered to him, it stuck. And it stuck hard. For Cain grew erratic the more he interacted with Ardent,
seeing connections where there were none, coming up with grandiose ideas, running around the fortress with
conviction, papers trailing behind. Iscariot and Talsmajir were often too wrapped up in their own machinations
to properly witness both the ascension and degradation of a mind. For Cain with all his growing flaws, began to
take on and complete harder and harder work. Progressing the wheel of science was his duty, and turn that wheel he did.
By the time both twins had matured, they each controlled a department of Tàrʐzö-malrnràö. Each had their own staff both
Dragomii and Sable’sa alike. Cain commanded mathematics and aerodynamics. Commanded control, commanded the power of a
space program. Quite mad by now, Cain existed in paranoid delusion yet with the imprint of genius. His orders were
nonsense yet worked, he commanded others to step to the side then back when entering a room. To spin after brief
prayer. To dance when grieving. Nonsense that yet worked, that yet propelled his department to glory. Some say he
gained insight into what would become the Retaining Walls. Knowing answers to questions unspoken, knowing
what was to come (to a degree) before it happened. Always through this incoherent babble would he predict and react
accordingly. Ordaining several space trips with solely dragomiian tech to the Sable’sa Lunar Colonies. Establishing a
very small presence on Moon Rezene, this small population still exists into the Modern Era.
With successfully putting dragomii on the moon, Cain grew obsessed with the stars. Repeating ‘They’re eyes’ over and
over and over. Slumping to his worst where he lay catatonic on the floor for hours or even days at a time. Only then
drawing the attention of Talsmajir and Iscariot. Who separated him from Ardent and did their best to rehabilitate Cain.
Yet… Talsmajir was too religious for such a fragile task and thus Cain slipped another way. Into divine supremacy of course.
Sable’sa had suddenly become scum to him, worthless bugs, festering insects. Talsmajir did not mean to do this, and she
herself could scarcely understand the damage she had wrought. Iscariot, already burdened with dealing with Talsmajir,
pulled back as his son “stabilized”. Unsure of what to do he quietly receded from Cain’s life. Leaving him to return to
duty as ‘normal’. Cain, now with visions of stars and the divine whisperings of his species supremacy, decided he wanted
to do something drastic. Something that would show the Sable’sa that the Dragomii didn’t need them. He wanted to build an
artificial star. He would listen to Ardent for hours to days, the two coming up with the plan, with Cain executing it.
The Plan was kept hidden for years, in that time, The Day of Wyrmwood happened, Talsmajir was assassinated, and
Iscariot succeeded by Maneeforth. At the time of his fathers death, The Plan was more than halfway to completion and Cain
inherited the Dagger of Iscariot. A holy relic he waved around with little care. Always the knife was on him, always with a
vacant stare. Abel by now had caught wind of Cain’s plans, he warned Maneeforth that this plan Could Not be allowed to
come to fruition yet, Maneeforth did not step in. And with no other choice, Abel came to sabotage the construction, the
materials, facilities, and the seed of the star they wished to sow before being confronted by an enraged Cain. Who chased
Abel through the halls and up stairs, out of the ground, out of Tàrʐzö-malrnràö and into the autum field above. Where the
final confrontation occurred. Abel, the smaller of the two could not fight off Cain and so was his throat ripped from him.
But not before he managed to drive Iscariots dagger through the mark upon Cain’s brow. The same mark they shared.
With Abel slain and all his plans in ruin, bleeding heavily from the head and quite mad both mentally and emotionally,
did Cain wander back to the cliffside to watch the stars a while. Upon being found, infection and disease swarmed the
wound and broke his mind further. Cain was dead within days.
His idea lived on, it would not be for eras before the idea of the fallen sons was revisited in earnest.
The dragomii needed slave stars for their starships afterall.
