Xorîla Druhtar
Overview
The Xorîla Druhtar. Flagship of the outer sands. Tons of muscle, metal, and fat adorn this harrowing beast. Rare and
exceedingly revered, The False Sun as it is known is an apex hunter. An underbelly of light brown to contrast the deep
earthen hue of its hide. Gold adorns the Druhtars claws, face, back, and whip like tail. Upon its back the gold creeps up
massive spines used for attracting bolts of lightning. The back of its wings are slathered in gold and the wingclaws dipped
generously in it. Used in tandem with the tail and talons to redirect bolts of stored electricity. The Druhtars maw opens
five ways. The serrated beak capable of acting like a combination between grinder and chainsaw. Nestled in an alcove upon the
side of its arrow shaped head are six red eyes. And between its antennae and just before the headfrill of spines; is one
parietal eye. Red in color.
This heavyweight beast is a slow flier, but not a poor one. When charged it can ignite the high oxygen concentrated air
around it for controlled explosions. Of which it can use to maneuver with devastating elegance and brutality. The lightning
rod display along its back disrupts any Cscarthine’s in the area. Disorienting and blinding the likes of the
Trackenshaw. This display serves a dual function,
when temperatures soar in the desert. The lightning rod display acts as a very valuable heatsink. While the regal beast can
still overheat easily on a bad day, it performs vastly better with all rods intact.
The moniker, The False Sun comes from the Xorîla Druhtars ability to manhandle the sun gods with ease. Earning it the
title of the False Sun, alongside The Golden Sun, The Red Sun, and The Black Sun. And similar to Onyx (The Red Sun) and all
her descendants. The Xorîla Druhtar has a theme when The Sound rings clear. It has inherited the grittier metal and
synthetic strings the god owns. Further cementing its false status as a servant of the sun.
Temperment
Regal and convicted, elegant and sophisticated. Druhtar are frighteningly intelligent animals. Should animals cower before them and show reverence, bartering for safe passage with gifts and tribute they can pass through its territory. And if they cower, perhaps be spared from becoming a meal. Solitary they live on their own, hunt on their own. Patrolling and more often than not, bringing electrical storms with them. The False Sun is no kind animal, but it is no cruel one neither.
