Due to their highly specialized build and legs, the animal is strictly limited to marshy environments. Where they rarely if ever depart their volatile mire.
Nʐenàgier
Overview
The Nʐenàgier is an animal that demands reverence and fear. Massive and thickly furred and muscled.
Claws hooked for climbing and rending meat from bone. Its head is heavy; bearing massive fangs and
tendrils above the nose. Whiskers protrude from the forehead. Its color of cream and maroon.
Built like a fortress its a slow animal, but it doesn't need to be fast. Not at all. For it is not
just muscle and fang, but mind and intellect. It is known for hunting dragomii in particular.
But can and will go after Sable’sa if the opportunity appears. Aware that its prey uses weapons
and is stronger in groups. The Nʐenàgier stalks them from the shadows of night. Breaking tents and
stealing away food. Aiming to start confusion and anger. Attempting to drive gathered groups apart.
And to pick them off one by one.
It moves like a shadow in the night. It is a skilled hunter and excellent tactician. It however, is
not easy to study. Not at all. And thus its numbers, range, and behaviors are not researched enough
for Conferous. And the region has been trying to contract researchers. But very few survive.
Information about the apex is sparse at best.
Temperment
Violent towards dragomii and sable'sa alike.
Life Cycle
Reports from a contracted researcher, suicidal in gall, reported to see one grown individual with what appeared to be younglings. They survived the encounter, barely. And their body resides comatose as an Integrated Construct. New overseer of their own research lab as compensation.
