Coppermouth Horse

Overview

This horse is a Terrifying force that is neigh unstoppable. Research is beyond risky given the horses vile vile temperament. Its true size and weight is known- most report something 30-40ft tall and heavy enough to tremor the ground beneath them. The collection of insectoid legs under their thick lace (tough blanketed hide draped around them) are numerous and exceptionally strong. The lace and hide of the Coppermouth is a speckled brown. Often with patches of deeper colors. Its ears are small and pointed. The inside of the mouth is the color of oxidized copper, and after feeding typically blue will stain the down its lengthy neck. They live deep within the ground, long having converged on abandoned copper mines in the Arkhanian wilderness. Living within the sprawling caverns and tunnels. Like the minotaur it stalks its labyrinthine halls. Contractors often are forced to encounter these deadly beasts.

Others report of Grandmother Coppermouths. This other of the horse is reported to stand at a menacing 52-70ft. Though these reports remain shallow and brief, varied and few. Their validity is to be questioned but not ignored. The only confirmed Grandmother, and that is hotly debated, is an individual inhabiting the long abandoned mining metropolis of Kerfuar’ʐ Hillörhà. This specimen is known as Two Spear Claw. A name earned by the two massive Fauchards impaled through its massive neck long healed over. The horse uses these spears, swinging its head to use the weaponry impaled within it to devastating efficiency. Other weapons stick out of the monsters hide, for no hunter, no god, has yet to fell the massive beast. Despite its infamy, no concrete measures of Two Spear Claw have ever been taken though it is estimated to stand at a staggering 57-70ft.

Other, probably, sensationalized reports state the beast can draw upon baleish greenish-blue flames. That it speaks in garbled words to mock its soon to be victims. Many report the horse killing gods like pests. Though one fact remains the same; it has its own theme. The Sound recognizes Two Spear Claw and has blessed the force of nature with its own unique theme befitting of vocals. Said to be the singing souls of all its victims warning others of its mighty prowess, of its infamy.

Temperment

The temperament of a Coppermouth is a fickle thing. Should one stay quiet, dare not make a riot. They can exist for a time alongside the horse. But breath too loud or sneeze, and you can send it into a biblical rage. Whilst calm for the most part, when enraged. The coppermouth will ensure the target of its rage lays dead. Contractors entering copper mines should they anger the horse, rarely if ever do they make it out alive. Being that of train horse, an angered coppermouth can run for however long it needs. And it will use its weight and momentum to fling itself across and over walls, chasing intruders should they manage to use abandoned mine carts. And because its a train horse, it can always outpace any non train inorganic or organic steed. Often billowing out white curtains of steam due to the temperature a racing coppermouths hide/insides reach. Their ire blinds them not. A calm coppermouth is a doltish thing, an enraged one is a cunning killer.

Life Cycle

Of its life? Well, no one knows. As far as any research time is concerned they might reproduce asexually. Or not. Of the few corpses retrieved and studied there was no concrete answer. The coppermouth remains a vexxing mystery. No youth have ever been seen, only possible elders.
