Grunza Hargona

Overview

Small grub like beings sporting many legs and a line of feelers down their backs. Spinnerettes at their rear, and menacing hook like fangs at their front. Among smaller less intimidating teeth. The large fangs can be used to grapple prey from a distance. Propelled by a rudimentary hydraulic system Grunza possesses. The feelers along their backs sense the chemical changes in the air among perception of humidity. At their base, where they exit the body, exist small collection holes. Runoff from the forest's extremely humid air trickles down into the grunza hargona. Both hydrating the animal and keeping their hydraulics system functioning as intended. Given the grappling capabilities of the animal are vital to how it can escape humidity storms and pools. Saving it from drowning.

Temperment

Fearful of anything larger than it, Grunza flee from unknown and known dangers and perceived dangers.

Life Cycle

Grunza lay clutches of eggs numbered from 60-130 at a time. Near the very top of the trees in a hope that when they hatch. They won't be accosted by the forests extreme humidity. Grunza young are slow and lack a proper hydraulics system and thus cannot flee as well as adults. Leading for larger animals like Kauzwem to feast on them whenever they are found. Due to high youth death rates, adults will reproduce year round and often.
