The Lulnlayer

“Deep within Arkhan a forest lays, water fills the air as the critters weep.
Come The Lulnlayer, come this dance. Come The Lulnlayer, without a second chance”

Located near the contested lands, the Lulnlayer is a Dangerous place to be. If you are not constantly on the move, you risk drowning as the humidity rapidly changes. Humidity storms as they are called, are frequent and deadly. They paint the very air with moisture and help the Lulnlayer look even more like an underwater forest. Halfplants called Nyʐ little the landscape. Their feet cling to the rocky/spongy ground below as they breathe through gills located in the hard carapace part of their build. They cling to the ground as well to avoid being swept up by “regular” storms and thrown around in the absence of roots. Smaller plants of Bluebasket and Red Shelf Flower as well as blanket sponge and leafless chitinous ʐfair.

Pilgrimage through the Lulnlayer courts death, a dance of which to strive for. A dance of which to die for. One is always on edge yet lets anxiety consume them not, instead one listens to that anxiety and works alongside it. To clench your fists and feel the prick of claws, to smile in spite of such pain and to dance all the days away.
