Overview

Defined as pests, the Szrtas Bloodpriest are many. Yet curiously, unlike their counterparts the Scczar’Scweffeen, they are adapted to Blackhold. And despite their small size, can withstand activation of latent balefire. The Szrtas is found all throughout the Blackhold exclusion zone and Blackhold itself. Outside of Blackholds walls, the Szrtas sticks to drinking off of Holdshaw both old and young, and the fallen corpses of Scczar’Scweffeen. Inside of Blackhold, they drink off the residents and will feast off of meat grown in vats. Leading to them being identified as pests.

Temperment

Skittish and akin to insect the Bloodpriest is quick to flee from light and movement. Anything to ensure its survival. And ensure survival it does, for the Szrtas has adapted to flee into small crevice and to curl up to appear dead.

Life Cycle

Szrtas breed and rear young all year round. Given how volatile their lives are in Blackhold and as pests they are not afforded the allotted seasons to go about their dance of life. They must take every chance to do their dance, every chance to ensure life prevails, every chance Blackhold gives they must take.
