The Hiros

The Enslaver of The Stars

Overview

The Hiros is a figure mired in mystery. One of the very founders of which all progress and civilization was built upon, and she still walks among them. From her first sighting, a meeting with The Forefather. The prelude to felling a God, to her latest in the Modern Era. Deciphering the words of manmade gods, to enslave the very stars. The Hiros is very much mute, either incapable of speech, or denying of it. Taking whatever project she wants into her own quiet hands. She refuses to write or sign, an enigma.

The First Era

Her only act was to follow Tasismarr around before The Howling. Tormenting him with her presence, a silent observer. It is not known how she may have inspired his beheading of Onyx. But everyone knows deep in their bones; it was her. The night before The Howling she disappeared, only to be seen in the distance. Holding the hand of Sharrjararal but for a moment. After the death of Tasismarr, her final appearance in the first era would be a seven night vigil on a hill overlooking the fort. Not flinching at any sound or weather, unblinking and unmoving. Before disappearing without a hairs of a trace. As she has come to be known to do.

Keiiral e–ér Orial Dark be that Wind

During the era Keiiral e–ér Orial (Dark be that Wind) The Hiros would make another appearance. With wild magic fading and a general loss of education her appearance startled communities far and wide. Unseen and unheard of for era’s, The Hiros was assumed deceased. However she would never answer any questions directed at her, instead she acted as a ghost to one. A bookkeeper of no renowned, descendant/ascendant of The Civilized, Nyothirt’rea’kaugh. For she would follow him silently and without expression, tormenting the aged Dober. For at least three hundred years consecutively she followed him, always standing but a few feet away. Her purpose during this was to elicit a song, a lament. Without speaking a word. Slowly as she widdled away at his sanity did Nyothirt’rea’kaugh word by word pierce together her Lament. And after its finishing, did The Hiros disappear into the wilds again without a trace. The motive or goal of this action once again mired in mystery.

Norimajarr Long Live Death!

The plague ridden era of Norimajarr (Long Live Death!) was a hard one. Her appearance, and again, shock of being alive. Acted greatly as a beacon of hope. Yet The Hiros would not save them, instead she would approach an unnamed individual. Snapping his neck, before retreating back to wherever she came. This action spurred surprise of the greatest kind, and confusion. For here was a figure, a lady of which they owed all too. Yet she did not look at them, did not sense them, coming only to draw death from one. Many theories have propped up as to why the individual had to die, what did she see. What did she know.

Shie e’Kerɸhac re’Arastel To Make a Slave of Stars

Shie e’Kerɸhac re’Arastel or Modern Era for the sake of simplicity; be of where The Hiros enslaved the stars. The problem in this era be the political and pseudo-economic need to expand to the stars. Terraforming had worked, but bad actors would see that work diminished to nothing but a trash world. With the technology to expand their cities gone, they had but one enterprise. Seek the stars. The only issue being the Adrukar would not cooperate fully. They knew the problem, they knew the math and the needs to construct a stellar engine. Much less, they together would know of how to compress a star. But they would not give over the math lightly, or at all for that. To past Arch Region Queen Cangranis and her best engineers did they give a poem:

The Adrukar refused to offer any help beyond that. And as their kind faced a difficult problem, did our lady, The Hiros. Make another appearance. Undetected did she manage to enter Alabraxia, Paralime district. Infiltrate the castle, and ascend to the highest point. She offered no words, she merely made her sign. Two hands held close to ones chest, palms up but fingers curled. As if to both give and take. They gave The Hiros the poem, watching as she left without a word or sound.

Quickly did the regions notice the monolithic swarms of sables, in mass exodus back to their homelands. It is unknown what transpired or how The Hiros commanded the kind of which called them the slayer of stars. It would be in the current Arch Region Queens reign that the engine would be complete. Starship Allureon. As to where the star, named Hiros’Kerɸhac (The Hiros Slave) came it is unknown. The Hiros would go on to assist in seven more starships, and would contribute to Confidential.

Oh My Love…
Oh my Love… My Love…
Oh My Love…
Oh my Love… My Love…

Why did- you do- this?
What purpose- Did you seek?
Why did- You birth Death?
My Love, My Love, Why? Do I cry now?

Oh My Love…
Oh my Love… My Love…
Oh My Love…
Oh my Love… My Love…

Enslave the Stars…
Thats what they ask of me.
Oh the Wheel Shall Turn.
But my love, why did you birth Pain?

Oh My Love…
Oh my Love… My Love…
What have you done…
Oh My Love why did you leave?

Oh I miss you, I see-
Your snarling face, pass down lines.
I see you in Death.
I see you in Life.
I see you my Violence.

Oh My Love…
Enslave the Stars…
Thats what they ask of me.
Oh the Wheel did Turn.
But my love, why did you leave me?
