Wohscheen inhabit the Lulnlayer
Wohscheen live in the deepest reaches of the Lulnlayer. Playing and swimming in large lakes and pools. Fast swimmers who care naught for any danger as they live relatively safely in their pools. Spearing small fish on their fangs after launching themselves forward. Streamlined bodies make aquatic travel easy, and Wohscheen are no stranger to launching themselves out of the water and into new pools. Yet this dance, this traveling leap leaves them exposed. And Vollgratteen are eager to take advantage of it. Snatching the playful animal and making away with a feast.
Playful and curious, Wohscheen are gentle things.
Wohscheen give birth in the lowest depths of the water. And keep their young close to them. Often the young stick to the underside of the Wohscheen. Only being left behind during hunts as they cannot keep up with the adults speeds. These brief intermissions of being on their own is the prime time for larger fish to strike. And as they grow their colors turn from reddish blue to the patterns and displays of adults.
