Unicorn

Group: Serves as a family, animals within a group are very closely related.

Large and mean, sporting a brutish face and singular horn that may be forked or serrated. The unicorn is a beast thats feared as much as its revered as a symbol of power. With a heavy mane around the neck they protect against neck blows. Their forearms support fully functional hands with five to four fingers present. The back legs are hooved and capable of supporting limited bipedal movement. The tail, usually long, used for balance.

Unicorns are closely related to Bicorns and Unithorns. Otherwise, other lineages have gone extinct leaving just the three. Relatively old is the unicorn lineage, relegated to Taria due to their age. Despite the lineages age, they have dropped most of their insect-like appearance, both outwardly and inwardly. Starting out from the tiny animal group of Sinoform and ending with large and mean Unicorns.

Conferous Unicorn

Built bulkier and far heavier. Both present with feathery streamers coming from the corner of small eyes. Tails that are smaller and more aligned with a puff tail. Aiding in their bulkier builds and silhouettes.

Southern Conferous Unicorn

The horn serrations of the Southern Conferous Unicorn point downwards. The unicorn subgroup has been seen using this horn to saw through various items. Just as with its northern counterpart, and of many animals in the Conferous, it is unknown of how it got there.

Northern Conferous Unicorn

With smaller eyes and larger nostrils, this Unicorn subgroup is larger than their southern counterparts. The horn serrations present on Northern Conferous Unicorns point upwards. Just as with its southern counterpart, and of many animals in the Conferous, it is unknown of how it got there.

The hooves of Conferous Unicorn are cloven.

Strikepoint Unicorn

Strikepoints are denoted for their straight horns, absent of forking or serrations. Found in colder climates, Strikepoints are usually found only in Region Arkhan, isolated parts surrounding The Ardent Crossing, and in and around the Spires. They have a far lower chance of also picking up the scaled subgroup. Though those in more mountainous areas and those in the Spires do sport a higher chance of scaling.

Forkpoint Unicorn

Forkpoints are named after a horn that forks off into two or more distinct branches at its tip. Often only two or three but splits of five to seven have been observed. While the forking is usually uniform through individual species, sometimes different individuals will have different forks. Forkpoints are usually found in hotter climates and are completely absent in both Conferous regions.

Scaled Unicorn

Scaled Unicorns as a subgroup, are truly a sub-sub group. The prefix of scaled being used to clarify a unicorns look.
